T.G.I. FRIDAY’S Sparks Eastwood with its NEW Flagship Store

I’ve always been a HUGE fan of TGI Friday’s for as long as I can remember.  Even when I was attending college in De La Salle University, I don’t mind going to Robinson’s Malate just to have a quick lunch at the Friday’s branch there.  My staple usually includes their Three-for-All appetizer sampler, which platter is decked with pieces of mozzarella sticks, baked potato skins, buffalo wings and celery.  I love it!  I love every element on the huge white serving dish including the marina sauce, sour cream and bleu cheese dip.

I cannot count how many gregarious fun memories I’ve had in TGI Friday’s.  It stays true to its maxim, “In Here It’s Always Friday.” The restaurant continues to live by this mantra, in every location, from accommodating and efficient service to value for food.

Mario’s Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Several Thursdays ago, I had dinner again at Mario’s at Tomas Morato.  I continue to hear a lot of wonderful stories about the dining experience in Mario’s from people who have patronized the restaurant for decades.  I wasn’t born yet when Mario’s restaurant opened its doors in 1971 along Session Road in Baguio City.  The tandem of Mario and Nenuca Benitez always dreamt of putting up their own restaurant.  Mario handled managing the restaurant while Nenuca managed the dynamics in the kitchen.  

 

Behind their clientele’s insistence and support on replicating the delicious food, likeable service and comfortable ambiance, the first Mario’s branch in the Metro was opened at Tomas Morato in 1974.
