Last Saturday, I was at Krispy Kreme Jaka Branch to participate in Tech Tanod’s Precinct Mapping Party. This was organized to help people find the exact locations of their voting precincts on the Google map. This will be extremely helpful for first-time voters and since there were some changes to the old precinct locations and voting centers, it makes it easier to navigate and locate the exact voting site.

Google has provided an online tool to allow voters like yourself, to place the locations of each voting center on a map. Your contribution helps others find their precinct voting center too! It’s quite addicting to pin a precinct once you find it in the map.

Other people might find it geeky but I had so much fun!!!! I found pleasure every time I located the precinct and it was quite addicting dropping one pin after the next.

It was great to see the Pembo kids as well who we met during the blogging forum that Juned, Arpee and I participated in.
There are still a number of precincts out there to pin. Try it out for yourself and contribute in tagging Philippine precincts.
