A story inspired by Filipino’s resilience, the play showcases the capacity of Filipinos to overcome the greatest peril. “Rak of Aegis” will be a box filled with musical and visual spectacles showcasing Pinoy’s innate love for music.”

I am a secret closet fan of the Aegis… gusto mo yun, secret na closet pa. I really didn’t want it leaked out but I sing Aegis in the shower. It was the perfect place to belt out (without getting knocked out in the head with a beer bottle) the song and submit myself to every word, especially the soaking wet part.
“Heto ako ngayon, nag-iisa
Naglalakbay sa gitna ng dilim
Lagi na lang akong nadarapa
Ngunit heto, bumabangon pa rin
Heto ako, basang-basa sa ulan
Walang masisilungan, walang malalapitan
Sana’y may luha pa, akong mailuluha
At ng mabawasan ang aking kalungkutan”
Alongside my bucket list of wanting to watch Michael Jackson, Coldplay, U2, Madonna, and Bon Jovi concerts, it has always been my fervent wish to catch an Aegis concert. So imagine my excitement when I heard about Rak of Aegis. I didn’t mind having the Aegis sing and act in the play, even with absolutely zero theater experience… even if there’s no stage, and they only sing on top of a huge rock. They are an iconic rock band and truly pure Pinoy talents at a class of their own. Original Pinoy Music.
Michael Jackson’s Doctor Investigated
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents and LAPD detectives searched the residence and office of Conrad Murray, each location a week apart. Murray is Michael Jackson’s doctor who is believed to have given Jackson a lethal dose of anesthetic Propofol.
Propofol is used to induce unconsciousness in patients ahead of major surgery. In hospitals, only a trained anesthesiologist is allowed to administer the drug under strict monitoring conditions.
TMZ.com reported that Murray had told police in an interview he gave Jackson Propofol via an intravenous drip. The website reported police believe Murray may have fallen asleep while the drug was being administered, and awoke to find the singer already dead.
If Murray did inject Jackson with Propofol negligently, he can be charged with homicide.
The federal agents and police came to his office a week earlier with a search warrant seeking evidence for the “offense of manslaughter”
The LA Coroner’s office reported that the toxicology result is due by the end of this week.
