A Toned Summer Body with Skechers’ Tone-Ups and Get an Eco Bag With Your Purchase

By now, you’ve probably heard about how Skechers has this “shoe that rocks”, literally, which has taken the fitness world by storm: its super-hot-selling Shape-Ups

Customers from all over the world, including the Philippines, have been captivated by Shape-Ups’ ability to deliver on all of its promises to give the user a real workout simply by walking in them.  Then there’s the product’s incredible comfort that seems near-impossible to match by any other shoe.  Shape-Ups have been so in demand, in fact, that Skechers stores all over the country quickly ran out of stock within a few weeks of hitting the shelves this last holiday season.  Satisfied customers would tell their friends—the product really works.

Well, Skechers is at it again—this time with Tone-Ups, the sandal version of its blockbuster fitness shoe.

Tone-Ups are designed to promote weight loss, tone your muscles, and improve your posture, among other wonderful wellness benefits that would surely have you wanting your own pair.

The technology of this new product is similar in principle to Shape-Ups, which is to simulate walking on a soft, uneven surface.  This “natural instability” makes your leg and buttock muscles work a little more to find your center of balance.  You get great toning benefits, plus improved posture and a stronger back, simply by walking in them.  Imagine keeping that lovely summer body all year round!

Reduce your carbon footprint this summer as Skechers offers customers a free eco tote bag with every shoe purchase.  By making simple changes to our shopping habits, we can help eradicate a lot of environmental issues facing our world today.

Tone-Ups are available at Skechers stores in Trinoma, Glorietta 5, Market! Market!, Robinsons Place Manila, Festival Mall Alabang, Marquee Mall Pampanga, Ayala Center Cebu, as well as major department and sport specialty stores.

Trek Teaser

Guess where I was last Friday? 😉

My friend Jayvee once called it, “Mordor.”

How will you get a “yes” to an invite if you described the place as Mordor? 😀

Juned and I looked at each other and laughed.

Err, no thanks.

I wasn’t anywhere close to laughing when the 4×4 ride started.

But, I gotta say.

Rivendell was at the end of that Mordor trek.

With Karen Z –my whining partner.

Rivendell? :p

 Sort of.

Earth Hour Forever?

***UPDATE*** Timbaland concert will supposedly start at 930 PM tonight to make way for Earth Hour.

It’s the time of the year again when we show Mother Earth that we still care.

It’s as simple as the flick of a switch.

The lights will go out for one hour on March 27 at 8:30 pm Manila time – wherever you live on planet earth.  It’s called Earth Hour – and it’s our best bet at stopping climate change.

But instead of just expressing your support tonight, you can show it the whole year by being more environment conscious and joining groups that help save the planet.  Manileños can start with helping revive the Pasig River.
