McDonald’s McRib Satisfies Your Barbecue Craving

We all heard the rumor late last year. Others wouldn’t believe it. Some people have seen it in some stores. There was an excited hush surrounding craving tummies. A few snapshots circled social media.  But like the Yeti, it disappeared into the night.

You probably had your first dibs of it if you grew up or have visited the States. Look no further, as McDonald’s Philippines finally makes it available in the country! The well-loved pork rib sandwich with a juicy, rib-shaped pork patty slathered with sweet, tangy, and smoky barbecue sauce served on 5-inch caramelized buns.

People have differing opinions on their taste preference ranging from salty and spicy to sweet and sour. But Pinoys mostly love their barbecue the same way – sweet, smoky and ultra saucy!

2015 Declared Holy Week and April Holidays

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday on April 2 and 3, 2015 are declared regular holidays based on Republic Act 9492. Some companies opted to suspend afternoon working schedule (usually 1pm onwards) on April 1, Holy Wednesday, to give ample time (in avoiding the rush hour of the Holy Week break) to their employees who will take a trip to their home provinces.
