Been feeling edgy, melancholy, tired, sleepless, happy and all out of sorts lately, drowning myself in music helps. These songs have been on repeat for hours and hours, but I still won’t get the tune, the tone, the melody or the lyrics if you ask me to sing them. 🙂

Train, the Grammy Award-winning rock band behind “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)” was in Manila last December for a concert. On December 7, 2011, Train took the stage to perform their big hits. “Hey, Soul Sister” and “Marry Me” are two of my favorites.
The American rock band, composed of trio Pat Monahan (vocals), Jimmy Stratford (guitar, vocals) and Scott Underwood (drums, percussion), was formed in 1994. The band was very enthused by the Philippine crowd’s energy. Mostly it was only the patron/VIP section that was fully-packed.
This reflects the little light I have inside right now.

Ovation Productions and Music Management International brings back American singer-songwriter, Jason Mraz to Manila. I remember watching his concert last year with Toca Rivera with my Victory church friends. That was back in October 2011 and nay even 2 years, and he’s here again. This year, he plays with his band.

2. The Script Live in Manila Concert
On March 31, 2013, The Script returns to Manila as part of their #3 World Tour at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Midas Promotions brings back one of the most loved bands in the world composed of the trio, Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power.
I also watched the last Script concert in Manila and it was with CW. We both decided to give the Bleachers, also known as General Admission section, a try and experience a concert from that perspective (other than ticket prices are expensive and the seating area we like are already almost sold out). Lo and behold, it was one of the most fun concerts we’ve experienced. We were just chill and we could sing out loud without a care in the world. Money well spent.
