I enjoy exploring places I haven’t been to but with my very busy schedule lately (say since the start of the year), this has been more of a luxury than a habit. Last Thursday evening, I see myself visiting Makati for a dinner, which is quite unlikely on a weekday as I am discouraged to brave traffic even if I’m not the one behind the wheel. I didn’t know where we were headed as it was supposed to be a bit of a surprise.
The path led to a garden room slash restaurant within the Makati Garden Club, which is apparently “for members only.” It was a lovely place designed with so much girly charm and daintiness, perfect for a ladies’ Sunday brunch group. I enjoyed it being away from the usual crowd and commercial spots, in its own “secret” quiet location. It’s rather charming, homey and relaxing.
On the Table
Vegetable Sticks (on the house app)
Skagen Shrimps, Olives, Pickles, Bread
–
Baked Artichoke and Chorizo Casserole
Steak and Lamb Plate
200g US Angus Tenderloin and a Lamb Cut

Everything was simply delicious. I was pleased with every dish that came out of the kitchen. I am eager to come back and check out the other items in their menu.
