After a couple of busy Sundays and my sister’s Palawan trip, we were back to regular programming attending the 9am Sunday service at CCF Tiendesitas with the tot and hunting down new restaurants for our Sunday lunch.

As I’ve been scouring the Metro for organic restaurants this year (I want the baby popeye to eat as much healthy and GMO-free food as possible), I decided to check out the recently opened The Farm Organics restaurant at Forbeswood Heights near Burgos Circle. They are quite known for distributing organic steaks and burgers which they supply in different stores. Their fresh-frozen meat products are available at Echomarket in Serendra and Centris, The Landmark Supermarket in Makati and Trinoma, and Gana Vida at BF Homes Paranaque. The Farm Restaurant is very well-liked at their first branch in Alabang Hills which paved the way to open their second one at BGC.
The restaurant is self-service, which means order must be made at the counter, but if you sit at the second floor, the wait staff can also place the orders for your table.
On the Table
Spaghetti P190
I ordered the spaghetti for baby popeye who absolutely snubbed it which the mum ended up eating and liked.
Truffle Mushroom Pasta P290
Steaks are best with truffle mushroom pasta (channeling Mamou’s steaks and Lorenzo’s pasta).
Organic Steaks Ribeye P987
Organic grass-fed beef is a healthier take on our meaty desires. Whenever I see ribeye, I cannot help but order it. The Farm Organics offers it in 220g (P800) and 300g (P987) steaks. They serve all their steak plates with one order of side dish. Since the sweet potato fries were out of stock, we ordered the mashed potato which was nicely done texture and flavor wise.

I like organic food albeit they have the tendency to be less flavorful and steaks can be less juicy and tender. The Farm’s ribeye was tender but could use a little more pepper for taste but I think the smartest thing they executed was to crisp up the fat trimmings which carried with it loads of salty smoky flavor.
Get a fork of the steak, splash a bit of Tabasco and the crispy burnt fat for one satisfying bite.
Burger Steak P210
Baby pops likes his rice and burger steak and he’s a gravy freak.
Chori Burger P
The Farm’s burgers are made with 100% all natural beef with no binders, preservatives or extenders.

I should give their other dishes a shot. The Avocado Burger, Double Cheeseburger, and Brick Oven Pizza look interesting.
