My favorite part of every week is when I get to spend quality time with family. What comes close second is discovering new joints to have sumptuous meals in with people I love. My sister and I trooped to Fort to find The Bowery, which is from the same group genius behind Nolita, L.E.S Bagels and one of my Ortigas favorites, Borough.
Borough opened in 2010 at the Podium mall whipping foodies into a frenzy offering round the clock New York comfort food. I’ve practically ordered every single thing on their menu the countless times I’ve been there. That’s why I was very excited to check out The Bowery.

Borough, Restaurant that Never Sleeps
The Bowery has strong handsome interiors with a discolored brick wall and mostly in dark wood tone.

Lobster Shrimp Truffle Mac and Cheese P1200
Crème Fraiche, Cream Cheese, Cracked Black Pepper, Garlic, Mozzarella, Truffle Oil
Foodies have been raving about this and if you want to indulge yourself in a more luxuriant version of our favorite Mac and Cheese, you should go check this out. The Bowery amplifies the dish with the presence of lobster, shrimp, and truffle essence.
If the beast in you wants more, you can also add smoked bacon (P80). I love the crumbly broiled cheese on top and the gooey stringy kind in the middle of the pasta that can make me go Mmm-mm-mm! I wish the lobster meat was a little more delicate – suppler and yielding, a little tad undercook. It doesn’t take away however, from it wanting to please. In fact, if not for that, my orgasmic buttons would probably be bursting.
The Bowery Bar Steak P680
Hanger Cut, Bernaise, French Fries
Hanger cut is not the best part but still has that full beefy flavor and a certain level of richness without burning a hole in your pocket. My sister quipped that she’s done with me ordering steak all the time but she finished a good third of this.

You can also build your own organic 3 egg omelette (P220) served with herbed home fries and toast. Add caramelized onions, tomatoes, spinach, asparagus (P40).
I’m interested to try The Bowery’s Eggs Ricotta Florentine (P290), spinach, ricotta, poached eggs, béchamel sauce on a homemade English muffin, served with herbed French Fries. If you want the classic mac and cheese (P360), The Bowery makes it available serving it with Yellow Cheddar, Gruyere, and Gouda.

I’m impressed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog
that’s both equally educative and engaging, aand let me tell you,
you have hit the nail on the head. The issue is something
which not enough men and women are speaking intelligently
about. I’m very happy I stumbled across this iin my search for something concerning this.
