I’ve been working crazy hard more than usual and carrying more weight than I can muster that I cannot help but look forward to the non-working holidays in the Philippines. One of which, if the Islamic calendar I looked at is right, will be the Feast of Ramadan holiday in July. Two (2) special non-working holidays in fact if you’re also working in Pasig City.

Eidul-Fitar 2014 will fall on 29 30 July 2014 (UPDATED as of July 14, 2014, 12:40PM as declared by President P-Noy), which is a Tuesday. Hopefully, the President will continue to declare it as a special non-working holiday.

Eid’l Fitr is celebrated by the Muslim world for three days after the end of the month of fasting.
In this regard, employees who will be assigned to work on this day will be given premium pay in accordance with their company’s existing policies.
