My New Travel Companion, Crumpler Dry Red Series. CONTEST below.

It’s no secret that other than food, the other one great thing I love is TRAVEL.  If you’ve been reading this blog long, Between Bites has been heavy on food and travel, other than many things in between.  I have a great long-standing affair with traveling.  Bubba attributes it to the trademark mole in my right leg (that mole doesn’t have any hair okay?).  Since I was a kid, I’ve always been free-spirited… I will walk to every part of the village we stayed in before, memorize the “zodiac sign” street names, baptize the garden and plants of neighbors as secret worlds, and even play near the dirty stream thinking it’s a mystery forest.

Escaping to the unknown has always tickled my fancy.  Traveling gives you something new to always discover –about the place, people, food, culture, and quite interestingly, even about yourself.  Of recent discovery, is a new travel companion – The Crumpler Dry Red Series No. 4.

Left – all 6 bikinis in a bundle.  Right – tops, skirts, etc.

(I know I still owe you travel blogs of Italy and Spain last year and now, Korea included and will work on it backwards I promise… I’m off to Taiwan this coming weekend.)

One thing that’s very essential when traveling is that key item that carries all your clothes, toiletries (if you take a bath regularly har-har), and even your to-bring-home goodies from abroad… it’s your sturdy, easy-to-bring luggage.  I’ve been using my pink Elle hard case luggage since 2008 but the lock is now starting to be wonky.  I like hard-sided luggage because it’s durable and can help protect fragile items.  But from previous experience, it can still dent or crack if dealt roughly and with a hard thud or blow.

I usually use my Elle luggage for regular travels to HK for work but I’ve found a suitable heir for that position, which comes from a known and trusted brand, Crumpler.  Many photographers, hobbyists and laptop-users have put their confidence in Crumpler and have been happy for years with their purchase.  For short travels, I have entrusted a stress-free trip on my Dry Red Series No. 4, it’s a heavy duty wheelie that has a semi-soft side case, sturdy and can accommodate 58 liters of packing, but weighs very light at only 3.7 kilograms so it won’t weigh you down and can glide successfully and flippantly through airports.

Crumpler’s Dry Red Series No. 4 has six storage zones, namely its front zippered pocket with four-compartment organizer and key/padlock loop, twin gripper zippered 58-litre main cargo space, zippered mesh pocket on the reverse of the opening flap, two zippered sidewall mesh pockets with foldaway shoe bag, eye mask & carry bag.  Easy to find your way and things around the luggage, especially if you’re as organized and neat as I am.

Both the main compartment and front pocket zippers of the No. 4 can be padlocked, so you fully secure your belongings.  The internal and external compartments are fully lockable for worry-free trip.

You’ll be surprised to find a snooze-a-matic eye mask inside your luggage.  So don’t worry if you’re traveling via a seat-sale airfare ticket, you can get some quality shut-eye with your personal eye mask from Crumpler –guaranteed as clean as you want it to be.

Notable also is the foldaway shoe bag inside the Crumpler Dry Red Series No. 4.  The dual compartment drawstring shoe bag separates my footwear from my clothes, thus not mixing the dirt or dust of the shoes with the newly washed clothes.

NEOPRENE GRIP THREE-POSITION TROLLEY HANDLE extends to full height for easy maneuvering and with its anti-jam wheels, the wheel housings are designed to prevent jamming from stones so the Dry Red No. 4 can move freely and even tango or sashay with you as you romp the airport ramp.

The case’s hand-friendly trolley handle is easy on the grip and its dual padded grab handles, featuring neoprene panels and foam cushioning for maximum comfort, would unlikely give me blisters even during long hauls.

The structurally reinforced base and injection moulded bumpers, help the luggage to free stand vertically or horizontally so I don’t have to worry trying to balance my luggage with my leg or pack the inside content neatly so it counter balance each items weight.  The outer of the Dry Red No. 4 is made from water resistant materials, which gives it extra protection.

Best of all, the Dry Red series have undergone a Torture Test to keep us stress-free if we bring out the Dry Red on a holiday or business trip.  Crumpler has taken it to hell and back by subjecting it to a travel simulation torture test that sees every prototype dropped, dragged, beat up and opened and closed umpteen thousand times to assure us that we’re carrying a luggage that can survive anything.

I was weighing my options between the Dry Red Series No. 4 or Dry Red Series No. 11.  The difference, the Crumpler No. 11 is Four-on-the-Floor that means it’s a four-wheel drive but it’s a tad bit smaller than No. 4.  Since I want extra space for extra clothes and packing my shopped items and travel souvenirs, I took the bigger one with only two wheels but I have no regrets.  I am NUMBER FOUR 🙂

The Crumpler Dry Red Series No. 4 is the ultimate travel buddy, especially for short trips around Asia or local domestic flights.  It is partially framed, offers good durability and has many expandable packing chambers.

  1. What is your best travel plan for this year?

I am very excited for my July trip to take a train ride from Singapore to Bangkok while visiting beautiful Asian towns and cities along the way. This will be the longest overseas trip I will have with my partner and just like all of our trips, it will mean a lot to our relationship. We’ll start in Singapore where my partner is based and then take the train to Kuala Lumpur. From KL we will take the train to Butterworth/Penang to visit the UNESCO world heritage area of Georgetown. From there we will take the train again to Bangkok to visit the temples. We will end the journey in Krabi and Koh Phi Phi in southern Thailand, celebrating my birthday there. This will be my first multiple destination Asian trip and I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

  2. Best trip ever was spent in HK with my family. It was our first time to go out of the country at that time. We explore the great places and took picture of the great scenery of HK. Those are the moments that I’ll cherish forever. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

  3. This is so exciting Jane! I may not be a big travel bug like you, but this year I do have a travel dream…

This August I will be embarking on a life changing journey. I will be taking my Yoga Teacher Training. It ends in November and at the end of my training, I am envisioning my best travel plan, not just for this year, but thus far in my life’s journey: I will culminate my training by going to India 🙂 Nothing better than ending YTT in the land where it all began, yes? I’m calling it out into the Universe! And yeah, I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series 🙂

  4. Angelica Sabio says

My best trip ever was Hongkong 2009! Not only was I a newly graduate from college, it was also my first out of the country adventure and to top it all of, I was with my family! The experience was meaningful and truly memorable! I got to see Disneyland, the happiest place on earth with the best people in my life! For future travels, I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

  5. Argie Villajin says

I’ll be flying to Bacolod City this October to experience the MassKara Festival. I’ve been to Bacolod a lot of times but never during MassKara. Las year, I had to cancel my trip when Tatay had to be hospitalized and undergo an operation. So much for buying tickets in advance…

But this year… I’ll be joining the festivities in Bacolod. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

  6. Annabelle Trono says

What was your best trip ever and why?

I consider each of my trips unique so tagging one as the “best” is difficult. Nevertheless, I’d like to say that the trips I consider the most memorable are those that were unplanned, go-with-the-flow and happy-go-lucky (mis)adventures with my friends, family or boyfriend because I got to explore new places and learn new things (i.e., food, culture, geography, etc.) without really expecting them. It’s always like an enchantment when nature’s beauty unfolds right in front of my eyes when I least expect it. Though I must admit I’m a neat freak, impromptu trips always excite me! That’s why I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

“What is your best travel plan for this year?” or “What was your best trip ever and why?”

My best trip ever is the HK Disneyland tour with my brother, because its all paid I won from lenovo asia pacific slogan contest. We explore places, sports, museum, culture, hk style food, exotic cars, cinema and Asian hollywood in HK “I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.”

  8. Allan Reyes says

My best trip ever is when I proposed to my gf to marry me in boracay. We are happily married now and expecting our first baby this month.“I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.”

  9. I plan to visit my friend in sweden during the winter! i hope i can afford it haha, still saving up but i know the cheapest airline for it. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

What was your best trip ever and why?

My Best Trip ever this Year is when i tour Ilocos Norte. I visited many historical sites, historical Buildings and Beautiful Nature Form site. I never forget the beautiful and Famous Paoay Church and the Beautiful Blue water at Pagudpod. “I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.”

“What was your best trip ever and why?”
Japan 2007 with my friend and sister. It first started with 2 of my friend wanting to visit Tokyo, so 4 of us booked for a tour, unfortunately no one else joined and the tour was cancelled, so 1 friend backed out. The 3 of us really wanted to go coz our visa were already approved. We braved to go to Tokyo on our own. We researched on the internet and make sense of the interlocking Tokyo subway. We enjoyed the whole 5 days with Disneyland, Disneysea, Mt. Fuji, Odaiba with lots and lots of shopping. It was so fun that we often went past eating time without ever feeling hungry. After that my friend went back to Japan again with her family and other friends as a tour guide hihihi.

  13. What was your best trip ever and why?

It was back in summer of 2010. I decided to stay with my husband in Davao for several months after getting giving birth to our firstborn. He was into sales and was based in Davao so he can move around the whole of Mindanao. Once, me and my 5-month old son then was dragged into one of his land trips. We went to Bukidnon, visited Gen. Santos City, stopped over at Cagayan de Oro, dropped by Iligan City and stayed for a few days in Pagadian. Imagine the hours of travel and how the car looked like it was our home during the day– really messy (haha!). We stayed in hotels and transient homes, stopped by beautiful sceneries, ate delicacies, took pictures and made memories. It was really fun for the simple reasons that it was my first time to visit those places and I felt happy being with my new family. If I ever get the chance to revisit those places again, I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series. 🙂

  14. Ernesto Lim says

I will be going to Moscow in June. All the people I talked to about the place gave superlative reviews.
This has made me eager to embark on what could very well be the trip of a lifetime. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

  15. What was your best trip ever and why?

My best trip ever were in Hundred Islands, Pangasinan because its one of the natural wonder in the Philippine archipelago. It does not only draw tourist to experience the white sandy islands but also to experience its wonder why such islands occur in such forms and beauty. Though, the location is quiet far from the city where I live in, I don’t hesitate to visit this must-see tourist attraction in Philippines. And because were going to packed many things for the trip, we need a big but unique travel bag. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

  16. Marites Quitoriano says

Hong Kong 2012 was our 1st trip as a family of 5. It was challenging with 3 kids around. But it was meaningful because spending time, building wonderful memories with our children is super worth it.

“I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.”

  17. Jeffrey John Imutan says

What was your best trip ever and why?

Last Sept 2011. It was the first time our whole family went on a trip and to Zamboanga. during my birthday.

  18. The recent spree to Boracay was significant as my elderly Nanay joined my husband and me. It’s the best travel I had because I spent three days with two wonderful people in my life.

  19. My best travel plan for this year will be my surprise anniversary trip for my fiance. We will be celebrating our 10th year anniversary this July and i will surprise him with a trip to Boracay. We’ve been to so many places but this will be the first time we will go to Boracay plus this will be the last trip we will have as bf-gf. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

  20. My best trip ever was last year’s trip through Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. I got to spend half of it with my parents, and half of the entire trip with my very best friends. It’s one of those trips where I got lost so many times, met so many strangers that I discovered a part of myself that I love the most: The traveling kind. I realized I was an entirely new person when I’m 14,000 miles away. “A river is never the same river,” they say, and I came back a different person. Traveling does that to me, I am never the same no matter where I go.

I’m headed to the same continent in a few days, I am sure to have a different adventure this time though it’s a business trip. For a week, I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series. 🙂

PS: This is such a cool contest, Janey! I’m crossing my fingers I’m going to win!

  21. Kathleen Yu says

“What was your best trip ever and why?”

My best trip ever was my Kuala Lumpur-Phuket trip last year with 2 of my closest high school friends. It was a spur of the moment decision while we were grieving over the loss of a dear friend and we had a realization that life is short so better make the most out of it. We had major food trip sessions in the KL hawker streets, relaxed in the pristine beaches of Phi Phi and Khai Island, and got lost in Old Phuket Town. It was a wonderful and memorable experience shared with dear friends. “I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series” in my next trip.

  22. I’m going with my parents to San Diego California. It’s one of the best cities in the world, where the weather is always perfect. I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red series.

  23. “What is your best travel plan for this year?”

I’m going on my first solo trip ever: to Malaysia. I couldn’t even begin to express how thrilled I am to have paid for my own ticket and how I actually found the guts to just go and pursue my dream of going on an adventure alone. I’ve gone abroad before with my family or for study/work purposes, but what I’m doing now, this deliberate traveling alone, is truly a first for my somewhat traditional family. Imagine my surprise when my parents just told me to take care. I guess my turning twenty-five years old (this May!) has a lot to do with it: it’s time I charted my own life. I’m so excited; I feel like the world’s opening up.

I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series along with me. It would be the cherry on top of all I have to look forward to.

  24. Justine Laure says

My most memorable exploration was my trip to New York last December 2011. I was given the chance to see another side of the world and to change my life as well. I flew to and from the Big Apple all by myself and that was challenging enough for me because it was my first trans-atlantic flight. Also, I had to spend Christmas and New Year’s with strangers because my family was in the Philippines. Being alone during that trip taught me that spending wonderful moments in a foreign yet beautiful country is a lot more fun with the people that you love the most. Through that experience, I had more time to appreciate the city and absorb everything that New York had to offer. Overall, New York has opened my eyes: with independence comes strength and wisdom, that family and friends are your greatest treasures in life and that home, the Philippines, is where my heart truly belongs. It took a lot of effort to brave the cold and challenging world of New York but with God’s grace, I came out alive! For my next adventure, I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series! 😀

  25. Best travel plan is Mt Pulag with my officemates. I can’t wait for the horror stories to come in. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red Series.

  26. Rachelle Ang says

What was your best trip ever and why?

I consider my European trip in 2009 as my best trip ever because it was a graduation gift from my parents and I experienced it with my dad. My dad and I never really hangout because I’m more of a mommy’s girl, so it was a chance for us to get to know more of one another. I’m really thankful the trip happened because we bonded and it brought us closer. My dad became my travel buddy after that and we make it a point to travel every year with my mom as much as possible.

“I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.”

  27. What is your best travel plan for this year?

I’ve never been outside the country, though I’ve had travel dreams as long as I can remember! I miss my sister who followed her Fil-Am husband to California and she’s given me all the more motivation to fly there! I thought I finally had the chance when my daughter was chosen to represent the country to the Chicago Taekwondo Open last November but, sadly, a ‘family friend’ swindled us out of the funds we saved for me to accompany her. I’d already rummaged through warehouse sales and ukay-ukays for winter clothes and packed them in 2 backpacks and 1 small luggage. My sister and I had already planned everything: she promised to show us snow, seals, deer, humming birds, a haunted house, woodpeckers, acorns embedded in tree trunks and an enchanted pine forest! When we finally accepted we wouldn’t be able to raise enough money in time,I cried—my sister bawled. But, God had a plan—we’ve a head-start to raise funds for the whole family to go to the next tournament! And I’m praying for that gorgeous Crumpler Dry Red Series No.4 to pack our stuff in. It’ll go perfectly with hubby’s favorite Crumpler laptop bag and camera bag.

“I’d love to bring Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.”

  28. I plan to go to Hong Kong with my family this year, hopefully I score a seat sale soon. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Dry Red Series.

  29. There are just so many places to go to in the Philippines and I’m just so excited for our company summer outing. WE are planning to go to Morong Bataan. I heard it’s a 4 hour drive but well worth to visit as the town is rich in heritage. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red Series.

  30. Rina Torres says

I’m going with my 8-year old daughter to Hong Kong and we will take the ferry to Macau. I’m bringing her to Disneyland and it will be her first time there. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Dry Red series luggage.

  31. If I had mounds of moolah to spare, best travel plan is a trip to the States to watch the NBA finals. It’s right around the corner and I’d just be so happy to watch all the action up close. If I get to be picked as the participant for the half-time show, all the better! I’d wet my pants, I tell you. Moreso if I make that half-court shot. But first and foremost, I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red Series.

  32. Best travel plan for this year is to go to Guam with my barkada. There’s a swingaround promo on PAL all the time and when we get our schedules together and pick a date, then we’re all raring to go. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red Series.

  33. Celine Mata says

Email sent! I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red Series.

  34. My mom’s birthday is in August and I think it’s the perfect time to finally spend quality time with her out of the country. It will be our first trip together just the two of us. I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red series.

  35. I saw this contest on another blog and forgot to join. Deadline caught up to me. Now, I’m sharing with you where I want to go. I have wished to go to Batanes for the longest time. Airline fares are up the roof but I think it’s worth to visit and could be the best place in the Philippines to promote. There is just far too much heritage there and preserved culture. Houses made of stone. Amazing sights from up the mountains. There’s nothing else I’d love to bring but my Crumpler luggage from Dry Red series.

  36. I read all about your Vietnam and Cambodia trip and my friends and I are doing exactly the same thing. But ours will start from Siem Reap THEN Vietnam. We were able to get a seat sale from Cebu Pac that flies straight to Siem Reapl. I Can’t wait to see Angkor Wat and take photos with my friends. I’d love to bring a Dry Red series.

  37. Ivy Policarpio says

I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series in Vietnam for my family trip this May:) im soooo excited:)

  38. I am going to Japan this fall with my husband. It will be our first time there. We usually share our luggage but not this time if ever I win. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red Series.

  39. Kimberly Camille Tiu says

What is your best travel plan for this year?

My best travel plan this year was when I went to Hong Kong with my family and cousins last April. It was my first time to spend the vacation with my cousins, and it was truly memorable. We got to visit relatives that we have never seen before and re-unite ties and connect families once again. We also visited attractions in Hong Kong such as Disneyland and Ocean Park. The best part of my vacation is the bond that we have created through this trip, that I will long for in the future to happen again. We also got to enjoy sightseeing and shopping of course. This was truly a trip that I will be in my memories.

I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series

  40. “What was your best trip ever and why?”

My husband, unfortunately, is not a travel person *sigh 🙁 but i, on the other hand, kept on dreaming, hoping and wishing we could somehow get to the other side of the, well, at least the subdivision haha!
Anyway, 2 years ago, i won a luggage bag from a premier night of tony g’s movie and i was like “hell yeah! this could be a sign! yahoo!”(btw, ’twas our first ever luggage!)
After a year, My hubby announced that we were going to Isabela because of work! (oh no!)
I have never been any where else in the country(except baguio), i have never been away from my family! and that scared the hell outta me!
This is my best trip so far! yeah! Because i’m with my 3 kids and my man!
I’d really love to bring my loved ones here someday, I’d also want to bring YOU here through my blog .. but for now, I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series:)))

  41. Maria Rodriguez says

Baguio is a favorite summer destination and therefore will bring my big family there for our annual family outing. I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red series.

  42. Franco Tan says

This a good contest. It made me start thinking of travel. I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red series.

  43. Pam Soriano says

What I love to explore is this island called MoalBoal in Cebu. I think it’s quite a travel going there but I heard it’s well worth the experience. You can even swim with whale sharks! It’s a little pricey though but I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red series.

  44. I’m going surfing in Bali in August with my fiancé before we start with the wedding plans next year. It will be our first time to ride the waves there as a couple but my fiancé has been there before with his group. I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red series.

  45. If I were to come up with the best travel plan, it will be a place where money shouldn’t be a concern. If I had all the money in the world, I would travel non-stop to places I have yet to step my foot on. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red Series.

  46. Although I had a lot travel plans, who would’ve thought that the most interesting trips I ever took were spontaneous rides to random places. Those were spur-of-the-moment trips where people and I just decided that we suddenly wanted to go on a road trip. So the very next day, we got into the car and traveled along the way, with no destination in mind whatsoever. We just decided to stop to every destination we chanced upon. This happened twice–one where upon reaching Baguio, we just decided to turn back and head home. The other was riding a ro-ro all the way to Visayas! It was interesting because there were no plans, no itineraries–just ourselves, our sense of wonder, and of course, tons of fuel money, hehe. That’s why it would be a treat to win this contest–I can go on more memorable travels without worrying on misplacing my things or being stuck in an unpleasant, harried situations because of Crumpler’s reputable quality. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

  47. Anna Pantoja says

I just came back from my best trip ever! I spent 17 days google mapping, ordering food in a foreign language (with Pinoy accent!) and enjoying the wonder that is Europe with my boyfriend! We backpacked across Europe; walked in the rain in Paris, got lost in Brugge, went chocolate-crazy in Brussels, window-shopped *wink* in Amsterdam, heard mass (in Italian!) in Rome and rode the cheap man’s gondola in Venice! It was a trip that I will never forget, sharing an amazing experience with a truly amazing and special person.

I hope I can relive that experience someday. If and when that happens, I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series!

  48. Ang trip ng barkada this summer ay akyatin ang Mt. Pulag. I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red Series.

  49. Cat Fragante says

Last March, my family (cousins, aunties and uncles) took a trip to China. Despite our busy schedules, we made it a point to go. After all, we were about to fulfill my Grandmother’s dream of seeing the Terracotta Warriors. AT 80+ years old, she walked her way to each location of the warriors. She amazed us all as she was a trooper in the caves in Kunming and the Old Town in Lijiang. To this day, she cannot stop talking about what she saw and felt. That makes a trip really memorable and will always put a smile on my face.

I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series!

  50. Mabel Selda says

As a family, we always go to La Union every chance we get and since we are celebrating moments with family, our dear loved ones, it’s always a happy and memoirable experience. It will be more memorable if I’ll be bringing a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red series.

  51. We are heading to Macau!!! That’s where we are going and it will be more fun if I could bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red series.

  52. Hello Jane,

My internet connection right now is uncoopertative. If you don’t mind I’m also placing the comment here:

My best trip ever was my trip to United Kingdom last year. I was at the airport waiting for my connecting flight when a middle-aged British man approached me. He visited the Philippines for THREE MONTHS during that trip. He told me things and I was in awe, learning new things about my own country and my own continent from a foreigner – beautiful things I never even noticed, and often taken for granted.

I promised myself that when I finally have the means, I’m definitely visiting places Asia and the Philippines. Now that I got my first job, I’m gonna be all places this year! The best thing about my plan? It’s about me traveling alone – because oftentimes it’s not about going to that specific place with a lot of people, it’s about the journey you had getting there.

With years of traveling I’ve learned that a traveler’s best friend is mobility, so I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series with me.

  53. My best trip ever was in Mongolia when I was younger. We got to sleep in a triple decker train and I stayed at the top bunk (couldn’t even sit up haha). I played around in the sand, had an a la Arabian nights camel ride in the desert and just sat and stared out at the dunes at one point. We had lamb hotpot and we downed around 10 plates in one sitting. We also rode and raced in our horses into the green and brown plains plus we watched a wrestling match between the locals. I would love to go back there again =) Best trip ever! And I will be the next one lugging that Dry Red Luggage! I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

My hubby and I haven’t had the chance to take our honeymoon yet with his busy schedule and budget constraints but we are planning the best travel plan and honeymoon for us in Singapore. He loves animals so we are targeting to go to Singapore Zoo and the Singapore Night Safari. If we had enough money, I’d book us in Marina Bay Sands hotel and take swimming laps in their infinity pool. I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage.

  55. Last weekend, my teammates and I came from Boracay and had fun watching Frisbee competition. It’s probably topping my summer list this year. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red Series.

  56. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Dry Red Series luggage.

  57. My sister and I are booked for a Taiwan travel this year too. I was reading through your series and found good tips on where to go and must for food. I don’t know if red suits me but I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red Series. I can just give it as a gift to my sister. She will be thrilled.

Walang hassle, walang terminal tax, preskong hangin, malinis na tubig, back to nature talaga. I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red Series.

Kaya naman I’d love to bring a Crumpler Luggage from the Dry Red series.

  60. What was your best trip ever and why?

I still consider my Sagada trip as the best, so far, Why? Because it was the first time I traveled with non-family members. It was also the first time I traveled north. We (my officemates and I) took public transport from Manila-Baguio- Sagada and didn’t mind minor inconveniences (numbed butts from long travel hours, landslides, getting thirsty and hungry, etc). because we were all excited. We really prepared for this trip. Our preparations included jogging around Ultra stadium every afternoon so we will have enough endurance for our trekking activities. We also did some belt-tightening measures (less eating out or “gimik” sessions) so we will have enough money for the trip. At the time, we were working for a government organization and had meager salaries. That trip was an awesome experience (including some misadventures and some scary moments in the caves) for all of us. We had happy memories and lots of pictures (lahat ng sulok ng Sagada, may pictures kami haha). That trip also fuelled my wanderlust. In my next trip, I’d love to bring a Crumpler luggage from the Dry Red series. 🙂

  61. hi janey! my sister sent me an email and i remembered my entry to your contest. 🙂 is there a winner already? anyways, just want to share an excerpt from her unintentionally funny email:

THird and I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniv.. can you believe it’s been that long? There’s this quaint mountain town about 45 mins from here and if plans push through (meaning if I get the chance to take time off work hehe), we’ll spend a night there. We’re going to see the Wolf Sanctuary, tour an abandoned gold mine, go to an observatory for a guided tour of the night sky and also take a solar tour (during the day, you can peep through telescopes for an up close look at the sun). There’s also horseback riding, but I’m not so sure about that, given how accident prone I am. Speaking of that…a dragon fly flew into my mouth the other day 🙁 eewww 🙁

I befriended this squirrel at the marston garden. They’re wild animals and you’re not allowed to feed them but this baby squirrel has been coming into the carriage house and sarah has been feeding . Now he’s getting bigger and he’s so cuuuute when he begs for food (i’ll send you pictures). Also, this robin built a nest on the side of the marston house and I’ve been observing how the mama and dada bird take turns flying into the nest every 5 minutes. One time I got too close and it pooped on me! Also, there has been a lot of avian activity because it’s spring time and eggs are hatching. The past two weekends now I’ve been witnessing showdowns between the hawks, eagles and crows. The hawks and eagles try to get to the crows nest. Since hawks are solitary hunters, they are no match for the crow’s strength in numbers. The Zoo is right across the canyon and the gardener said they nest at the marston grounds because they take advantage of the free food at the zoo. I even saw a wild blue heron (as tall as I am!) and Robert said it’s nesting nearby.

  62. I used to be able to find good info from your blog articles.
