***UPDATE as of April 28, 2010 1:54 PM: PGMA announced May 3 as a non-working HOLIDAY!***
(wow, I wonder how the KMU will feel about this declaration)
May 1 falls on a Saturday this year. I wonder if it will be moved to another weekday as a non-working holiday? But I heard that some groups lobby that the commemoration won’t be moved since there’s importance to celebrating May 1 on exactly its day. My mind needs another holiday seriously.
Anyone who knows if May 1 will be moved? Has PGMA announced anything?
May 10, 2010 is Philippines’ National Election Day so there’s definitely no work on that specific Monday. PLEASE PLEASE GO AHEAD AND VOTE and VOTE WISELY.

Hello! Wala raw pasok sa May 11. Totoo ba yun?
@chie: kudos to you for wanting to vote! shocks, sayang nga boto nyo…isn’t it illegal for the company to keep you at work on election day?! Well, your options are either mag-absent na lang, you have a very good excuse anyway…or if malapit lang ang polling station mo, mag half day…people before us have given soooo much for our right to vote..sayang naman if we don’t…if we don’t vote, wag na tayong mag-whine or complain na our country is this or that..or that the problem is the government or corruption…that may be right but we are either a part of the solution or part of the problem…by voting, it’s the former…we are given few opportunities to love our country…this is one of them…boto tau! laban tau! and let’s hope that may 11 is a holiday! hehe…subtle ba?
may pasok po ba sa july 26,2010 sona ni pres.noynoy?
